  I BROUGHT MY MOM THERE TODAY FOR HER BIRTHDAY....THE SERVICES WAS AWESOME. WE HAD STUFFED MUSHROOMS THAT WERE THE BEST WE EVER HAD....AND OUR MEALS WERE JUST AS GOOD. YOUR SWEET SERVERS SANG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY MOM TOO....THAT MEANT SO MUCH TO ME ????????????

  A hang out place for young people in High School or College. Food is pretty basic, but the staff is friendly. Easy location and one of the only things to do in the area. Young people come here mainly to sober up, smoke cigarettes, or hang out without parental figures around.

  I try a different diner every time I visit North Jersey. Budd Lake Diner was my pick this time. It wasn't far from the hotel and it looked like a well-established local joint. The dining area was comfortable and it was good that they had both smaller and larger booths to accommodate groups of different sizes. Menu prices seemed on the high side but the meatballs parmigiana I ordered turned out to be a big portion. Still, I wish they had some lower-priced dinner entrees. Service was good and fairly efficient. Dining area and restrooms were clean enough. Menu pricing aside, I'd say it's the quintessential Jersey diner experience.

  Every one so friendly. Great food. Met a friend there that I have not seen in 30 years. So we had a lot to catch up on. And nobody rushed us. Great place
