  I have been searching for grass raised and grass finished meat that is humanely raised. The farmers market I go to has vendors that sell grass fed meat but they grain finish for the last 30 days. Grain is not what cows should be eating. This butcher is not close to us but is well worth the 30 minute ride. The owner, Sebastian could not have been more helpful and accommodating. It is getting more and more difficult to find clean, healthy real food . Pastoral Pig was EXACTly what I was looking for. This is the only place I will be purchasing meat from now on.

  Love this place. I wouldn’t call it customer service, the sincerity of the owner brings me to the realization that he wants to be a friend, earning your trust trough kindness, increadable knowledge of his product and mastery of his trade. The meat is phenominal. He remembered my name after only one visit and my dogs love the pet food he sells. Price is too low for what get in my opinion.

  We discuver this place four or five months ago and since then we literally don't buy meat any other places. Even it is far away from our home (over 1 hour drive), we drive and buy our monthly meats from there. Owner and the staff all amazing! Helpful and nice. Products are fresh, really organic and most important for me humanly raised not industrial. As a result of it so tasty. Although we have to freeze them (we buy almost monthly) there isn't any change from the taste. Owner is so helpful, he gives advices which are end up amazing food. This place definitely deserve more than 5 star!

  Locally sourced, whole animal butcher. Hamburgers (as an example) are ground from one animal not like the mish-mish of beef you get a your local grocery. Everything can, and will be vacuumed packed at your request (no charge). Full line of chicken, pork and beef. Not everything will be available on everyday. Call ahead. Wednesdays are "meet the farmers" as that is the day when the local growers bring in their delivery. Obviously the latter part of the week will give you more choices. You can also call them and have your requirements made up and waiting for you. Excellent products and very knowledgeable butchers.

  Patient staff who will help you find what you are looking for. If you're going for a certain cut, call before you take the trip as they have specific delivery days for different types of meats which sell through quickly! It's a pleasure to see people in the food industry who have a passion for what they do.
