  This is my second time at the new Market Tavern, both have been absolutely awesome! The cocktails are out of sight thanks to super bartender Nadine. Her Moscow Mule has spoiled me for life. Their menu isn't so long it takes all night to decide, which is a good thing since everything sounds so good. I'm still exploring the menu to find my favourites but I still come back to Grandma's Meatball. The Tavern is under new ownership and I must say they made my favourite place better.

  WOW ever since the new owners took over the food, the service and the entertainment has been Amazing!!!! From having a special party or night out with family or friends it is definitely the place to be. The food is just Amazing (the burgers are to die for) and I really love half price bottle of wine on Wednesday’s Woooooo hooooo!!! Also Saturday night live entertainment is so much fun! It’s so great to enjoy a live band so close to home. Great Job Market Tavern!!!!! Can’t wait to see what you do next. Thank you !

  The signage that was outside the building still says Corner Pub. They have a banner that has been posted for months which is why it has taken me so long to try this place. Is it Market Tavern or Corner Pub? If I am starting with a new brand, new concept, new owners, I would quickly take away anything that had to do with the poor Corner Pub brand that was there prior, especially with the reputation that it carried. That aside, the new market tavern logo is actually really cool and should be all over the place. I ordered the market Burger with fries and diet soda from the bar. The Burger was excellent, beef was really super fresh served on a nice toasted bun, with of course a pickle. I sat at the bar for a quick meal in-and-out and that's what was delivered with a smile and solid service. The inside has a lot of the old décor from the Corner Pub that still remains But obviously, the food is much different than before. I believe the Market Tavern is an extension of the market place. This means the food will be prepped at the Market Place, so you can count on the food being great tasting and fresh. I buy hot lunch meals all of the time the Market Place and never have been disappointed. If they can replicate that same formula as the Market Place, it will be a huge success. I will be back for the fish and chips next. Best of Luck to the new owners.
