Even under the best circumstances, buying a major appliance is a bit scary. So many manufacturers, models, so many features. And right now, COVID-19 has made even obtaining items difficult. Enter Pequannock Appliance.

My refrigerator died several months ago and I immediately discovered that a new one that could fit in my not-very-tall space would be hard to find. I reached out to Pequannock Appliance with the information I had, and George immediately made suggestions. Respectful suggestions. Inexpensive suggestions. And patient during my REPEATED phone calls. But he made me aware of multiple options and as I decided that my needs might’ve changed, he was right there to help.

Being disabled and vertically challenged, every time I measured I got a different answer. Again: enter Pequannock Appliance. Glenn came and actually measured the space to make sure we knew what we were working with. Note that I had NOT committed to buying from Pequannock Appliance, but they came out anyway. I considered Home Depot, Lowe's, Best Buy ... but availability was iffy at BEST, their charges difficult - I did NOT want to hook up the ice machine but they mandated I pay for the cord needed - and reaching them to ask a question often impossible - what if there was an actual problem?! Pequannock Appliance, OTOH was there at all times and honest in every possible way.

The minute the machine I decided upon became available, at my request he do so, George reached out to me, and within less than a week I have a beautiful new, perfectly installed refrigerator. My old friend Glenn was one of the two men who came to help and even gave me time between taking out the old and putting in the new one – wearing masks the entire time mind you – to let me clean out and mop up the nightmare of gunk from beneath the old one. Grand measurements by the way: perfect fit and they even installed it perfectly flush against the counter, leaving me enough space to fit a nice little sliding cart to maximize usage.

Are these guys good? No. They are THE BEST. And since I think I need a new microwave guess who I’m talking to about it? They already spotted a problem I had no idea would exist. You just cannot go wrong with Pequannock Appliance and George and Glenn.

And in case you ask, no: I have absolutely no connection with them whatsoever other than being a very satisfied customer. This is service the way your parents tell you it used to be and so seldom is anymore. Support your local businesses, and if all local businesses are like Pequannock Appliance, believe me we won't be dealing with the big box stores.

Six weeks ago prior to the era of social distancing we purchased a dryer to replace a 15 year old worn out squealing gas dryer. We were very pleased with the service, pricing and products of Peaquannock Appliance. Little did we know that 6 weeks later and lots of stay at home cooking and dish washing, we would need to replace our dishwasher as well. John came through within a few days with a great dishwasher. We trusted him to pick our dishwasher and we were extremely impressed with its quality! Thank you! We highly recommend Peaquannock Appliance. If you decide to purchase your next home appliance from them you will not be disappointed.

Very reliable, on-time delivery and knowledgeable about appliances. I would definitely go back to them again for other appliances. Being a business owner I know how important good services, quality and a relationship is. We need to support small-businesses. I have refereed him two 4 neighbors and one that is looking to purchase in a few days a new Washer and Dryer.

George was helpful selecting a good replacement refrigerator after our LG/Kenmore died prematurely. This shop doesn't even sell the LG for that reason and others. Great to have an independent and knowledgeable source for appliances.
