  I just started at Gael Force Jiu Jitsu and absolutely love it. Alex is such a great teacher and really cares about you and making you better. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking to try Jiu Jitsu even if you have no prior experience.

  I attend as many classes as possible. Both bjj and kickboxing. I entered with no experience at all and was quickly made comfortable and felt very at home. Alex is a great teacher who really cares about his students and wants best for all. It’s a family establishment and all of the people are very welcoming and helpful. I’m very grateful for my experiences here and look forward to this journey here!

  I could write about how great Alex is as an instructor, but there are already 20 reviews here that accurately represent that fact. Instead, I'd like to focus on Alex's proficiency as an owner/head instructor. First, Alex is present for all of the classes right now, demonstrating he has a personal interest in the development of each of his students. Furthermore, he takes time after each promotion (including stripes) to sit down with his students and tell them exactly what he expects to see out of them before their next promotion occurs. He also takes the time to help you develop your own "game" by teaching you techniques that fit within your tendencies. It is this direct involvement and attention to detail that makes you feel like part of the team, as opposed to a dollar sign for a bank account. The bottom line is that this is a great place to either start or continue on your journey through Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I highly recommend checking Gael Force out if you are interested in learning BJJ.

  It’s no surprise to me that Alex’s profession was teaching. I was very impressed with the comprehensive beginner’s curriculum he developed, and amazed by the individualized progression plans that he creates with each of his students. Alex has the rare ability to translate complex movements and techniques into simple steps that are easy to digest. His style of teaching is fun and effective, and the individual attention he gives to his students is invaluable. He is a wealth of knowledge and his deep understanding of the art is evident in the way that he can identify and correct the more subtle and advanced details you may be missing. Whether you’re looking to just have fun and get in shape, to learn effective real-world self-defense, or strive to become a high-level competitor, I highly recommend you come check out Gael Force Jiu Jitsu.

  I’ve known and trained with the head instructor Alex for years. He has a unique ability to break down technique in such a way that The subtle nuances of the art are easily understood and applied to your own Repertoire of skills. He is an amazing instructor! Alex great with children as well. All in all he is an out standing individual with an immence love of the art. Any one would benefit from an instructor like him.
