  Large state park with lots of parking if you get there early. It fills up quickly in the summer. There are grills set up un the hills. There is also a good sized boat launch.

  Great place to go in the fall and winter but definitely stay away during the summer. For those of you who do want to go during the summer make sure you get on the line by 6 630 or you will not get in and please pick up your trash before you leave. Also when waiting on line don't leave your trash along the roadway.

  I absolutely love going here! I've been going every summer for the past 4years. It's kids friendly, place is clean and not too crowded if going during the week. Weekends are a completely different story in the sense that its busiest ofcourse. Be ready to arrive at 8am to secure a spot on the weekends because they wont let any cars in once parking lot is full. (I believe walkins are not allowed)

  This park is one I always enjoy. BBQ/picnic areas, cafetaria, kids' playground, beach. All great stuff to enjoy a whole day in family. And nothing beats the view of the lake! No trashcans there, so carry your trash out when you leave.

  The park was closed when we got there it's really beautiful though. We want to go back with some friends! (No trash cans were to be found so bring a bag for trash, we ended up picking up quite a bit of litter)
