“Great experience. Very professional, friendly staff, respectful and courteous. Dr. Matthew Krupnick was the Gastroenterologist and Dr. Moses (Anesthesia). I wish I could remember everyone's names but the entire process, from beginning to end was professional, respectful, careful and made what could easily have been a frightening dreadful and awkward procedure, a calm friendly and not at all unpleasant experience. Being on Medicaid, has been a daunting experience for the last few years. I have had more than enough scary medical and dental experiences to last a lifetime. Ridgedale Surgery's workload looked to be very very busy, but the staff, (Linda, (I think) who put my pic line in was very nice (and pretty too btw!) really put me at ease, and even exchanged some gentle professional humor which calmed me immediately. ( I'm not the least bit ashamed to admit that I was petrified about this procedure). I wish all my (and your) healthcare concerns go as today's did for me. I was very pleasantly surprised. “Dr. Okunola is a fantastic doctor!! We met a few years ago when my mother had terrible reactions to the L-dopa she was taking for the Parkinson's. She was having seizures due to sleeplessness and not one doctor could figure this out. Doc Oky is a big teddy bear!! He treated my mom with dignity and her end came super fast!! I noticed the doctors Facebook is not working?? He is the best. on a personal note, he is handsome and loving. one thing I want to add, Dr. Oky is the inventor of several Parkinson's solutions to severe symptoms. One problem my Mom had was her body would stiffen and her right foot would stick to the floor like it was made of stone!! dr. oky came up with the laser pointer fix. The Parkinson's brain is damaged to the point of not being able to send information to the legs quick enough. If you use a stimulus (laser pen) the Parky will kick there leg up like a spasm or reflex. He marks the floor with the bright lazer dot and the Parky will follow with zero thought. One time Dr. Oky had my mother popping her legs so fast I thought her catheter would blow out the pee hole in her depends diaper!! We were laughing so much that he would do the laser pen trick often. A real monument of levity on those early 7am days in the hospice. One time he made Mother bang out a game of hop scotch , well we nearly blew a fuse. Definately a short circuit that day. LAZOR Pen is the greatest trick to use when Mom or any Parky gets cranky, because they do!! We would make cranky mom hobble away as punishment. he sure made losing mother a fun time !! Mother also had a problem getting her eye stuck in a Cross eye position. dR. Oky would tell her "keep talking" keep talking and rub her back, if I did not know any better he was trying to get some sugar!! Well best of luck. God bless and save. Amen. God bless America!!!”
