“My son and I did not 'fit the mold' of the typical Mountain Lakes residents, meaning, we were not wealthy, but of modest Middle Class, economically. However, as a parent, I regarded education as the single most important focus for a child, the door to his future. So, we struggled, financially, renting a tear-down, foreclosure-pending, FEMA condemned house, from a scoundrel, being the only "affordable" place to rent within the school district. Because he wanted to remain there, we stuck it out for four years, living in inhuman conditions (the town did nothing to help us), paying the rent despite the circumstances, while my son made use of all the school had to offer - academically and socially, including their wonderful sports programs. By the time he graduated, he had earned an entire semester, plus, of college in his back pocket, through all the AP classes he availed himself of. In fact, he also received an 800 on his Critical Reading module, and was awarded an Academic Excellence scholarship to Northeastern. Of course, only sports offers a full ride, nevertheless, 25% is still a considerable dent, being economically Middle Class still. Don't blame the school, or the teachers, or even the students for your failings, if you did. You make your own way, you are, or should be, your own person, be a leader not a follower, not a sheep. He navigated very well through the waters of the social dynamics which can exist in ANY school. We didn't have money to *buy* an education, we... HE... did the work, plain and simple, while always participating in a number of sports. And now, he's about to graduate college, and will be realizing his goal - to head back to DC and spend his life and career on The Hill. I couldn't be more proud. His years at Mountain Lakes HS were a gift we both fought to keep. No excuses. JUST DO IT!”

“I love the convenience of having my favorite prestige brands close by, without having to go to the mall. Prices are a little high though. I decided to try the Salon. Leslie is a lovely, courteous person who took a lot of time with me, consulting, telling me what she was doing each step of the way and updating my very old fashioned hairstyle. She even taught me how to curl my hair with a flat iron! Even though she had a client who came in early, she did not rush my style. Highly recommend Leslie. Will definitely go back and will bring hubby too. I find all the employees helpful and nice in this location.”

“I live in Short Hills, today I was in rush and droved my car from the driveway right to the street with my handbag still placed on top of my car roof, Mr Steven Kmit from All seasons Air service company working on my neighbor's house on the other side of the street saw my bag flying off from my car roof top, he ran to the middle of the very busy Short hills Rd picked up my handbag, I droved away without knowing what was happed, by the time I realized my bag was missing, I started to crying in the middle of the street, because inside of my bag, I have about almost $1000 Cash, cell phone, keybox , all type credit card, driver's license, checks, camera, check books.......I was so upset and worry at that time and started to call Livingston Police and Millburn Police and ask them to contact me if anyone will turn my bag in, about only an hour later, Mr Steven Kmit drove his All Seasons air van showed up in my driveway and hand me with my lost bag, and he ask me to take look inside of my bag, see if I missing anything, I can't believed my eyes, a wallet and all the cash are all inside of my bag, my eyeglass and other electronic things are all crushed, Mr Kmit told me after my bag fly out from my car roof top, everything came out from the bag, he have to pick up every piece of the $100 and $20 bills and all other stuffs from the middle of the street and put all of them back into my bag, that is why everything looked so messy and crushed, speechless and I'm shaking badly all I did was get his business card, that is why I know who he is, and this review is not related to his work, but I can say Mr Kmit is an amazing kindhearted honest man, I want to recommend him to all my friend and clients for his service, I can't thank him enough for what he did for me today, now I finally calmed down and I want to say Thank you so very much Mr Steve Kmit, I will remember this forever! may god bless you Mrs Lin, Wei Short Hills resident”
