    Always a go to on LBI - perfect steaks, seafood and sushi! Love the outside bar in the summer too!

    My Mom suggested this place for Thanksgiving and it was spectacular. The service was extraordinary and the food, perfection. My lobster almost fell apart. The atmosphere was cozy and they even have a Sushi bar. Nice hotel with ocean views in the heart of Long Beach Island.

    I've had many stays at the Engleside. Great family hotel. Check in is always smooth and efficient. Employees are very friendly and accommodating. Most impressive are the crew of people who handle the daily maintenance. From 6AM these people never take a break. Hard work at its best and it shows. This place is extremely well maintained. The heated pool is great and the beach is 50 feet beyond. Great set up with the "Sand Bar" on premise for drinks lunch and dinner. All open air, live music, Happy Hour specials daily and great food. The rooms are well maintained, clean and comfortable. The AC units work very well. The beach is clean and everything is in walking distance from the hotel.

    Second visit this summer and we have been going here for years. I gave it a 4 star because of the food. Excellent prime rib, sushi, and tuna. Nice crisp salad and delicious house dressing. The flourless chocolate cake amazing as was the coconut cheesecake. Love the cappuccino. Our wait staff for our first visit was top notch however Cameron our server last night, wasn't as good. I had a salad fork dropped on my lap as she removed my plate. An offer of club soda to treat the stain would have been nice and a sincere apology. We found ourselves eating our dessert on a table that wasn't properly cleared from the main course as bread and bread plates remained as did chopsticks from our appetizer. I do expect more from a white table cloth establishment.

    Engleside is by far one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Their food is always top notch and the service continuously above par. The entire dining experience is extraordinary! Their Alaskan king crab legs are incredible! This time around I decided to order the pork chop as my entree... I was not disappointed! If only they would give me the secret on how they got it to be so perfect, juicy, and tender! If you find yourself near this restaurant, make it a priority!!! A++++
