  I had a wonderful experience at Lorry's and will return again for my next LBI trip. My fiancee and I (late 20's) spent a weekend here and it was delightful. The service is great and personal, the grounds are lovely, and they are incredibly flexible. We had a late check in and were easily accommodated. It is so close to the bay and the beach; you can't go wrong. If i may note on another review i read, THERE IS NO CURFEW! you are free to come and go as you please. i wanted to set the record straight, this place is awesome and easy going.

  My wife and I come here every year, and we absolutely love it! In my opinion Lorey's Island End Motel is the best motel on the entire island. It is located in the most peaceful part of Holgate right at the end of the island. Bill, the owner and all his staff are friendly people and very helpful. The barbecue area is absolutely beautiful. There are 3 gas grills that you an use, picnic tables and a gazebo. There are free fresh bagels for breakfast and many free amenities available for guests including beach badges. There are even bikes and boogie boards that you can use at no charge! The rooms are very clean well kept. They are stocked with everything you could possibly need including a microwave and a FULL size fridge and freezer - which really helps save money on food and beverages.

  My husband and I stayed at Lorry’s last year for our honeymoon and the service was phenomenal! We called the day of and the staff was able to get us a room right away. Even though we booked our stay on such short notice, the staff was still able to give us the biggest room they had and decorate it with balloons and gifts for us. The hospitality of the staff is what truly made us happy! They were so thoughtful and they did so much to make our honeymoon special. The room they gave us was absolutely beautiful as well. It had everything we needed and it was extremely clean. I would highly recommend Lorry’s to anyone! The room rates are low and the service is spectacular! My husband and I will definitely be returning to Lorry’s again soon!
