Have been seeing dr Eiras for about a year and a half and she and her staff are wonderful. She is treating me for lyme, babesia and bartonella and I am soo much better than when I first saw her. I feel very comfortable that I finally found the right doctor. Thank you Dr Eiras for giving me my life back!!!!
Been seeing her for over 15 years through several bouts of Lyme disease, Babesiosis and Bartonella. Her employees are very compassionate and they have always gotten me right in when it was a true emergency. She does accept Medicare which covers those of us who are so sick we have become disabled. If she no longer accepts other insurance blame the insurance industry and their unwillingness to recognize Lyme as a serious illness, not her. Years ago the wait times were a nightmare, but she has really fixed her scheduling. However, given that she is a sole practioner in high demand she can only see so many patients in a day! I truly feel I would be bed ridden or dead without her. I travel 2 1/2 hours each way to see her every 3 months or so as I no longer live in the area.
I've been seeing Dr. Eiras 14 years now 3 bouts of Lyme disease. If it weren't for her I don't think I would have left as I was in the hospital for 6 weeks the first time. I think she knows what she's doing she listens to you she talks to you she cares about your outcome and she has a wide range of approaches that absolutely work if you follow her program. Walking into her office you feel very comfortable and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.
