(September 15, 2018, 6:12 pm)I have an HP Spectre, $2k touchscreen laptop, that is a few years old. About 6 months after not renewing Geek Squad for hardware, the touchscreen was cracked and the keyboard stopped working. Best Buy Geek Squad had no idea what to do for the keyboard other than say it would be less expensive to buy a new $2k laptop. Additionally, any repair has to be shipped out, so it is 6 weeks plus a really expensive repair. Mobile Medic ordered the parts, for them in about 2 weeks during which I still had my computer for work. When the parts came in, they fixed it in 3 hours - perfectly. Three hours, touchscreen and keyboard done without paying for an expensive annual plan, without having to pay to backup files, without having to lose access to the computer for weeks. These guys are great. Highly recommend them. Affordable repairs, including smartphone screens.
