The most amazing part, my daughter is learning from 2 people I am honored to have as teachers, leaders, mentors and fantastic role models.

(April 21, 2017, 1:47 pm)When I started here almost a year ago, I never could have imagined how quickly I would feel like part of a family. Grandmaster Art, Master Melissa, and my colleagues have all become such a great support system both in and out of the studio. The self-defense methods taught here are varied, practical, and effective. Being as small as I am, knowing techniques that rely on body mechanics rather than power means everything to me when it comes to feeling confident in my ability to protect myself. I can't imagine training anywhere else.

My daughter did not hesitate to want to be part of this family right from the start after meeting with Masters Art and Melissa. My daughter has learned so much in such a short amount of time. She is so more focused and balanced and looks forward weekly for her class. The professionalism, patience and caring for all their students is NOTHING like I have experienced. Masters Art and Melissa are so skilled and knowledgeable and every class I sit and watch... it is so very clear just how dedicated they are to not only their student but for anyone who walks through their doors. Do not hesitate if you are looking for a material arts program. They are beyond fantastic. And I am extremely honored and proud to have found such a great home for martial arts for my daughter. Best thing we have done all year!

(October 19, 2016, 1:10 pm)Great great studio! My twin daughters started at age 6. My initial purpose for enrolling them at AHMAA was for them to learn self discipline and and confidence. Fast forward to today, at age 14 my daughters have developed into confident, disciplined and FIT young women! Great decision eight years ago. Could not be happier with the results or the tenfold return on my investment. Art Hinkelbein is the best in his field and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
