(March 15, 2018, 8:03 pm)My daughters started training in Isshin Ryu karate about 5 years now and Judo for the past 6 months. I can’t even explain the the unbelievable difference I’ve seen in their confidence and determination. I’m so proud to see them never give up on learning a new skill or when they do not succeed at a tournament. The Jersey shore martial arts academy has tought them confidence, determination , respect, and to be humble when they succeed. As a mother of 3 girls in these uncertain times it is also important for me that my girls learn how to protect themselves, This school does this and more in a friendly, family like environment where my girls will make life long friends.
The instructors are patient, knowledgeable and make class enjoyable. I could not ask for a better dojo for my girls to learn from. -

(March 15, 2018, 7:48 pm)I was first drawn to this school for my daughter after she tried several classes, and, myself being a black belt in Isshin Ryu Karatedo I saw Steve's passion for his arts and his students. Steve's commitment is second to none when it comes to seeing his students grow and learn while enjoying their training at the academy.
I have since joined this school as a parent, student and teacher. Children and adults can all benefit from the programs offered here. I recommend this school to anyone interested in Karate, Judo or Brazilian Jiu JItsu.
