(October 14, 2018, 8:20 pm)Our family had to make a difficult decision to place my dad in a nursing home due to his dementia. Michelle Keller, admissions, was amazing. She walked us through the entire process, explaining the routine of the unit and the regulations. She has the patience of a saint, in that she made herself available to answer all of my questions, and there were many. On the day we moved my dad in, her and Bob were very supportive. The nursing staff in the Applewood unit were compassionate. The entire team made the transition easier. Since we moved him in, Michelle made a point to call me to provide an update. They have kept my mom updated on how he is doing. As we move forward, the staff at Holiday Care is considered as part of our extended family.

Everyone is caring, compassionate, professional and available to help at all times. I am very pleased that I walked into an amazing team! I look forward to my future here at Holiday Care Center.

(February 6, 2018, 3:01 pm)There are some really nice people there in admissions. Michelle is terrific and was so helpful (God Bless You and you get 10 Stars), especially in a time like this when your Mom needs help.
The nurses aids are friendly and polite.
I would give it five stars if the nursing staff could be on top of things just a little better.
I have to say I do admire all of them because they really have a tough job and its easy to complain (me) when your not in their shoes.
Personally i don't think i can do what they do, you need heart for that and honestly I don't think i have it.
