I was a patient at the Lacey NJ office. My insurance company determines where I go. I was very unhappy there so I requested a change to Toms River. That change made all the difference in the world. The staff is more personable and they listen to my concerns about my dental process. I came to them with major dental problems with no finances other than my insurance coverage. They worked with me to get me a beautiful smile. Yes, sometimes I have to wait but it doesn’t bother me. When I go to my PCP, I wait!! When I go to Red Lobster, I wait!! Things happen and it throws them off schedule. I appreciate them taking time with each patient because I want them to take the same time with me. Dr Cisar, Sam, Maddie, Patty and the entire staff all get 5+stars!!
My appointment time was for 4:45 and I was able to leave at 6:30. In that time I was greeted, saw the dentist, and had my teeth cleaned. Is an hour and 45 minutes unreasonable for a dentist trip? I'm not so sure. A lot of these reviews make it seem as though the expectation for a dentist appointment should take 20 minutes. I thought my appointment was more than reasonable and was overall a very nice experience.
Does it feel like this office is run like a meat market? Maybe. But I know that a lot of public workers are provided insurance that only works with Eastern Dental, and for the amount of clients they have to service I thought this office did an excellent job. Everyone was extremely pleasant. Plan appropriately for your appointment and everything should run smoothly.
