“Have been going to this eatery for more than 30 years, under multiple managements. The facility could use updating but is a comfy casual environment. The staff has always been very nice and eager to please. The food is good at a fair price. They have an all you can eat salad bar and very good soups. My parents took us there once a year when I was young and now everytime my family and I are in the area we stop in. Hopefully my children will bring their children here in years to come.”

My crispy calamari appetizer was overly breaded, but the ginger salad was a nice enough starter. I had filet and shrimp hibachi and the food was good, complete with all the typical hibachi chef tricks. My wife had a roll and loved it. Reasonably priced.”

We had a small hiccup with an eat in order recently, and they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure that they made it right. STELLAR CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE, which is becoming a lost art this day and age. Kudos for awesome pizza that my WHOLE FAMILY actually ENJOYS (pizza wars are a thing in our house-there are five of us, and ordering pizza during the off season is a nightmare in our house because we all prefer a different pizza place). Thanks for being a consistent staple for our summers on the island! The small Stromboli is really enough for two people and it’s delicious-we love the pepperoni. The plain pizza is always a huge winner. Not aggressively crispy on the bottom so it doesn’t hurt when you chew and it’s got a perfect sauce/cheese ratio where they kinda mesh together for cheesy deliciousness without too much tomato gravy ruining everything. Solid chicken Caesar wrap. Garden salad heavy on the lettuce and light on cukes and tomato, but fresh and crispy and delicious-our two year old actually eats it. Can be busy. Call a little earlier than you want your food, just in case. Thanks for being awesome, guys.”

“Enjoyed it very much. Went for Wood Fired Pizza after searching Google and found that they are much much more when we arrived. They started us with bread and oil, we had the Italian Fired Wings as a app and they were absolutely amazing. We then ordered the Rubustio Pizza and that too was excellent. The table was cleared often by the bus staff and our waitress was attentive. Will definitely be back.”

“Duane the manager, I encountered almost a year after the terrible experience I’ve had from his predecessors, is always on top of everything. I haven’t been back in that long. Let us in and placed us by the door in the back. I went to the bathroom and saw him unclogging a toilet. I offered advice and he was thankful. He probably didn’t need it as he unclogged it 20 seconds after and thanked me after I started talking to him while he was washing his hands. Duane was professional and let my mother in the door. Checked on our meals. He even double checked afterwards and made sure we were satisfied. He let us sit close to the door so that my mother that can’t walk well could get out. He made sure we had everything we needed. As old as I am I have never met a young man so accommodating. The waitress was wonderful and this restaurant has made a tremendous change. My mother is 104. She is always happy and so am I.”

The chicken is not chewy at all I find that many other places tend to over cook it making it chewy and this place cooks it perfects. The owner is so nice and so are her children.
