It is difficult to find the words to express my gratitude for being a part of this amazing journey. Dr. Mike Shulman is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also extremely approachable. The visiting faculty also offered invaluable input. During the course, we would receive constructive criticism that encouraged conversation and critical thinking. We were constantly encouraged to work together and help each other. Not many courses offer hands on experience, but the experience of working on live patients is something that cannot be taught in words alone. The encouragement from all faculty has given me the confidence to be not only a successful dentist but also as an implantologist. The importance of treament planning and always being prepared was certainly not lost on me. I have a whole new perspective on how I view and manage my cases since I took this course. I cannot wait to take another course with this group, and I would encourage anyone else interested in dental implants to take this course without question. The support does not end when the course ends. This course allowed all of us to be part of a network of dentists placing implants for life. Great hands on course for dental implants. I was hunting down for a complete clinical oriented course for over a year and one of my friend recommended this course. I'm glad I signed up. Before attending this, I have done two different courses where the focus is more on didactics and marketing their products. This course is completely different, the instructors are not biased to any one system and they teach you how to work with hard tissue, soft tissue and dental implants.

Even though it is a 100% hands-on course, in the journey you will learn lot about bone physiology, implant interaction with bone, science behind and bonus of marketing knowledge and support for lifetime through WhatsApp groups leaded by some of the best clinicians. The type of cases I got to do and experience is phenomenal, I cant ask for anything more. Dr. Mike Shulman is a genuine and passionate provider and instructor with heaps of knowledge and experience, learnt some of the modern implant pioneers and world experts. Dr. Anitha Shulman, Dr. Oh, Dr. Brown will help open other dimensions of implant dentistry through their years of experience.

Overall this is an excellent course for general dentists looking for getting expertise in dental implants. (make sure you develop good theoretical knowledge on implants before to get maximum benefit of the course.)

It was fate. Mexico had a travel advisory so I seeked out a local live patient course. I'm glad I did. The ADIS course is built on the legacy of the pioneers of implant dentistry - Leonard Linkow, Sheldon Winkler, Carl Misch and others. By the end of the course you hear so many stories about them that it feels like they are in the room with you. The faculty is humble, highly knowledgeable and genuinely interested in your progress. The variety of faculty is the best part. 2 general dentists with different approaches, 1 oral surgeon focused on the medical aspects of implant dentistry, 1 prosthodontist who supports all of his suggestions with a wide variety of data. The patient pool is excellent and practicing in a fully equipped private office with expert level assistants and world class technology (cbct, co2 laser, prp/prf) makes the experience deeply valuable. If you have a good fundamental didactic background of implants and are ready to begin the clinical training I would strongly recommend this course. Unlike commercial courses which only teach one type of implant and surgical kit, this course encourages critical thinking and by the end, you begin to see that the fundamentals of implant placement are the same regardless of the implant company. It all comes down to having a respect for the biology of bone and proper treatment planning. Thank you for a memorable experience.

Excellent course for learning skills of dental implants prosthodontics. Dr Shulman is amazing clinician, In addition to placing dental implants, you learn to think about the whole process, case planning, patient management and communication which is critical. We had opportunity to learn from Dr Anita Shulman, Dr Oh and Dr Brown which brings multidisciplinary angle to the curriculum. We as a team got to observe and learn different level of difficulties and managing cases with different implant systems and tools which is unique to ADIS.

Another important factor I feel unique about Dr Shulman’s course is that he guides course participants even after courses, has even more advanced training to offer and has community to help with setting up clinic for implant dentistry successfully and it allows to us to be part of American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics as course covers requirements of the academy.

Dr. Shulman and the ADIS course does a wonderful job going over the basics and more of implant dentistry! Both didactic and clinical portions are laid out and explained ahead of time and then included is 5 days of clinical patient portion. It is a great experience to work with different specialists and learn different techniques from each of them. Dr. Shulman is a great teacher and is there to answer any questions and will also help you even after you finish the course. He genuinely wants you to succeed and get better in whatever you want to pursue. I would highly recommend this course for anyone looking to learn in placing implants!
