The water has a pleasant mineral taste to it and is very refreshing. I highly recommend you try it. There is a 8 gallon limit per person per day. This well is only for Clifton residents, but I've heard there is another well in the city at a church that is open for the general public.
Hey, this spot is a very unknown scource of pure clean water, its makes the best tasting coffees and teas and is unsurpassed for baking or cooking with. Strange part...its in the city of Clifton just a few short feet from Cliftons Art Center in the citys complex. I think this well head might be historic as the land where the citys complex is today used to be the Quarantine Center for animals or livestock coming into the country. You can drive your car right up to it, fill up your limit of 5 gallons a day and go about your way. They post that its for city residents only but I've never seen enforcement of this.
