“I don't give 5 star ratings. I was in a major MVA. Driving a van I hit an 18 wheeler head on. Yes OUCH. My 12 foot van after the crash was 4 feet long. Anyway Dr Cohen operated and put 4 rods and 16 screws in my spine. I was told I would be in a rehab for 3 months. Well I'm stubborn and was released from the hospital after 5 days. I may be stubborn and push myself a bit but THAT would not have happened if Dr Cohen did not do such an exemplary job. Perhaps there is a better surgeon out there but I don't think so. Caring, considerate, patient, informative, comforting. I believe in God. I believe he gives us all a gift. It's my opinion that God decided to make a surgeon that would fix people. Dr Cohen was that creation.”

Also my tech, Denise was wonderful! She made everything so easy for me while taking my X-rays. She kept me talking and talked me through it being this was my first X-ray! “I was dependent on a very high dose of benzodiazepines and suffered a life-altering seizure, from withdrawal, in late April of 2020. For understandable reasons, my primary doctor and insurance left me with no option other than detox/rehab. This was during the frightening first wave of Covid in metro Boston. I was hesitant to go pre-coronavirus, and definitely didn't want to go then. My last option was to find a psychiatrist out of network. I called/emailed around 20 local psychiatrists and they all seemed too expensive or unhelpful. Felt hopeless. The next day I received a call from Dr. Toy, asking if I was okay and to let me know my case was potentially solvable. From what I'd read online, the tapering process seemed unbearable. It wasn't. He chose the perfect starting dose, and each reduction was hardly noticeable. Now, 7 months later, it's almost over. I don't wake up thinking about it or go to sleep needing it. “We were very impressed with VEG. Our 11 1/2 year old dog had an emergency on a Sunday, and when we called, they told us to bring her in immediately. This was after calling 3 other emergency clinics that were much closer to where we live, who told us that they either cannot fit us in or we'd have to wait 3 hours. VEG understands what the word "emergency" means! The service was excellent, the staff and veterinarian took time to explain everything to us. They were concerned, kind and helpful. Costs were very reasonable. I would highly recommend VEG to any pet parent.”
