Passaic County Community College

For a school in a not so nice area, it's really a nice place to move up in life. I graduated from here in 2018. You quickly notice the advisors and registrars office are pretty terrible, but after reading reviews of all the CCs in the nearby metropolitan area, this should be expected. 90% of the professors at this institution are absolutely wonderful. As long as you stick to your studies and pursue your education, you'll be alright. The student base is kind of hit or miss, but this isn't high school anymore, you are not here to make friends. This community college operates like a job, you enroll and after a few years you have an AA or AS. Upon graduation, every single university I applied to afterwards with a 3.1 GPA accepted me coming from PCCC - Rutgers (All Campuses), NJIT, MSU, WPU, and Seton Hall.

Great place to learn English as a second language (ESL)

This school has it all from ESL, to highschool seniors entering their freshmen year at college, to having students returning to school after several years. PCCC also has many programs, clubs, organizations that will make your college experience a great one. For those seeking to attend classes Free of Charge there is a grant that makes tuition FREE. If you have Instagram please follow PCCCPanthers, PCCCMOCSI, EOF, TRIO, PTK. There are tons of great professors and staff at the college to assist you and place you on the path to success through their Guided Pathways dept. Are you a gamer? Join the E-Sports league, that right an E-Sports league. Awesome time!
Work study opportunities for students who qualify, part time positions for all students, plenty of scholarships available year round just gotta ask. The bookstore has the latest tech and school merch to make you look like you are being sponsored. Lol
