“Just plain great! We visited the area after watching this bar on restaurant impossible and we were very impressed! Just outside of Newark NJ this gem is perfect if you’re looking for a drink with locals, great music, delicious food options, bowling or to make new friends. “Ed” was great and just the same as he came across on the show, a gentleman and treated us like family. We were visiting from New Hampshire and he went above and beyond to make us feel like family. I had the chicken wings and the chili. The chili was great but the wings were phenomenal! My girlfriend had the Tina Fries and she loved them. The portion sizes are huge and the bartenders are very friendly. We will be back again next time we visit the tri state area! “Some of these reviews are very false and not accurate at all. The store is VERY clean every time I go and the employees are incredibly nice. There is absolutely everything that you want in the store. From meat, chicken, cheese, rice, everything you could imagine. The prices are accurate for the quality that you are getting, and if you went to any other store you would not find the meat to be cheaper and the same quality as AK Market has. Overall, I would recommend everyone to come to this store because you are getting your moneys worth.”

We asked for to-go containers, when he brought them out, he put them on the table next to us. No one checked on us to see if we needed refills, if we wanted additional food or dessert. Nothing!!!! We had to flag down someone just to get our check. I am not sure if I will ever go back there.”

“Amazing bakery! The best I tasted in long time. I was driving to NYC and a friend recommended I stop by and try it. Food is very delicious here and all fresh. Meat pie with pomegranate sauce is really a great thing to try. Also, try out the cheese and Labneh pie. I ended up stopping by in my way back and got a big order and frozen it. You can just warm up the oven at home and put the froze pies for 5-7 minutes and it will be fresh again.”

“I love the hospitality, every time I come they welcome me with a warm welcome, then they ask me what I would like, I asked for a fade and they gave me a fade on my sides, every other barber I went to never gave me a fade that mad eye as happy as Turkuaz. At Turkuaz, the barber also gives me advice and suggestions. I love it, I live in central Jersey and I drive almost 1 hour just to get a haircut because of how nice it is.”
