I was given two Saturday appointments in a row to fill the cavities, and being the big baby that I am I was stressed out for the entire month I had to wait for them. Fortunately, Dr. Nagel was my dentist both times and made each visit a breeze. I mentioned that I was nervous, so he was very gentle, and if I flinched at all, he paused and asked if I was okay. His patience and kindness were much appreciated and although I hope I don't get any more cavities, I'm happy to know there's dentists out there like this one if I do!”

“If you need an eye doctor, don’t look any further. Dr. Gollance is the best choice. My 87-year-old dad who has glaucoma needed cataract surgery. He could hardly see out of one eye, and the surgery went perfectly. The other eye had some complications, but Dr. Gollance came up with answers to control his eye pressure. He is caring, professional and dedicated to his patients.”

“This synagogue is a warm and welcoming place. Having been a member for over thirty years I can attest to the fact that Shomrei Torah has never rested on its past accomplishments and become stagnant. This House of Worship recognizes that faith is an irrational emotion and that there are many ways to relate to Judaism. There are many different perspectives voiced by many active members of the Congregation. Shomrei Torah is open, in every way, to those who want to make this a better world for their family, their community, and the nation by embracing those traditions of Judaism that bind us in a meaningful manner. The rabbi has been the rock that has steadied the ship for a long time. His growth as a person has paralleled the development of the synagogue’s faithful constituents. In his own way the Rabbi has been instrumental in nurturing the ongoing spiritual development of many members of the congregation. It is not about him, it is about you. The rabbi merely holds up the mirror for you to see your own reflection. If you need perspective, if you need advice, if you need kindness he is there for you. The same goes for some amazing folks who have endured personal tragedies but have chosen to come out the other end as loving, charitable human beings. This synagogue is blessed with leadership, creativity, and compassion. It is an amazing place where the sum of the individual efforts put forth defy math for the total output is greater than the sum of the all the individual inputs. If you are shul hunting I strongly recommend Shomrei Torah as the place to compare all other Conservative Jewish Houses of Worship.”

“I love Dr. Scillia. At first, I went for him because of a torn meniscus. And I have been taking care of my husband who had a stroke last year so surgery wasn't an option. So he suggested me getting the injections. And they worked wonderfully and are still working. Recently I went to see him because I had been to two other Drs for a pain in my foot which I swore was a fractured foot. The ER Dr. said there was some swelling but nothing major after an x-ray and an CT scan. My Podiatrist said it was my arthritis and put me on steroids. In my heart, I knew the pain was way to bad not to be a break or a fracture. I went to see Dr. Scillia and low and behold, I have a foot fracture. Thank god for him. I have a boot, on crutches and I now am waiting on my MRI results! Go to him, he is the best, and a great guy too”
