Started Crossfit about 7 weeks ago. I had doubts about Crossfit as a workout because of all the mixed reviews I've read but my Chiropractor recommended it and the coaches at this facility were extremely attentive and spoke with my multiple times over the last year. The only thing I knew about crossfit was what I saw posted on social media and the internet (which is usually the insane milestones). Needless to say I was nervous but decided to give it a try being that it was the closest gym to me and I really needed something extra to keep me committed. Crossfit NP is amazing. All the owners work out with you. They run this gym as a community gathering and not a business. Everyone has been welcoming and super helpful. I loved the intro classes to teach you the moves and even after the intro classes, the coaches and other members are very helpful. Everyone's priority is safety, if they so you are not in good form, they will help you. Everything is scale-able to your physical abilities. They encourage you to do a little more than you think you can do, and you can do it. Trust me. I love that there are all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whatever stereotype you think crossfit is, that's not it here. All I found here are people trying to be stronger and healthier according to their own standards. I'm currently attending 3 days per week due to my work schedule and I constantly find myself trying to make it an extra day. I'm hooked! Needless to say I highly recommend!
