St.Martins’s school is a great school! Both my children have been attending the school for a few years now. They have thoroughly enjoyed all the activities, work there. The teachers are great and are very involved with every kid’s development and learning. They also have weekly classes for Spanish, music, farming and many more interesting topics. We have been happy with our experience here.
Excellent school and staff. Both my kids attend the school currently. The staff follows up with each student 1:1 and are very communicative about child's progress. Very impressive curriculum and along with that the school does a variety of side projects. The school hosts a variety of programs throughout the year. The staff puts in a lot of effort in planning each event and the kids participate in very creative ways.
Even after school hours in extended care, each weekday is planned for different activities like music, cooking, art, crafts, baking and others.
I would very much recommend this school. My kids totally enjoy it everyday.
My children love the school and truly enjoy the staff and program. The teachers are all wonderful and make themselves available. The team does a great job and we see fantastic progression in our kids academic skill set as well as their social skills.
Regarding the posting below by Mr. Xue Ding, I think it is important that I clarify this matter myself since he has taken the liberty to mention about me and my son Kyle.
St. Martin is the first school that my son Kyle ever attended. He started school in September 2011 with Ms. Toby in the toddler classroom. She is a great teacher and my son loves her very much. Mr. Xue Ding sent his son to St. Martin’s about three months later around January 2012. Though his son is a year younger than my son, they were in the same toddler class attending the morning session. School started at 8.30 am and Mr. Xue Ding hardly brought his son to school on time, sometimes an hour late. Most of the time he came after 10.00am just in time to catch the class at the playground. (after an hour of school work, the children get a break to play in the playground). Mr. Xue Ding told me that he lives far from the school. Children need time to adjust when they first come to school. My son always gives me a hard time in the morning and saying he does not want to come to school, but when he is there, he is happy and plays with the others.
I am so surprised that Mr. Xue Ding remembered so clearly that my son was sick on July 13, 2012. I feel bad that being Kyle’s mom, I don’t even recall the incident at all. Once thing is for sure, my son NEVER got food poisoning, not from school or from any other place. When I look back at his medical records, Kyle got sick on that particular date from a stomach virus. I exchanged emails regarding this with the school administration to inform of his absence from school due to the stomach virus. Kyle may have been out of school a couple of days due to the stomach virus, but I don’t know if he had really been ‘’sick for 6 days’’ as Mr. Xue Ding claims. I just don’t understand how and why he knew so much and was so sure about my son. I chatted with Mr. Xue Ding sometimes when I picked up my son from school, but never discussed anything in detail with him. We did not have any other contact. Once I knew he was not sending his son back to St. Martin’s in September 2012, and was planning to keep him at home, I just wished him luck and persuaded him to find a school closer to his home.
My son Kyle is currently enrolled in Ms. Rachel’s class at St. Martin’s School. I absolutely agree with Mr. Xue Ding that she is an excellent teacher . Her assistant, Ms. Bing Ding is also very good with the children. My son likes them both very much and I am very happy with them.
