(December 6, 2018, 6:59 am)This place is unique in a sense that it allows its clients ground privileges, smoke breaks and horticulture therapy. Living quarter are airy and spacious unlike dungeons you see in other places. Other than that it is a behavioral hospital and should be treated as such.

(September 30, 2018, 9:10 am)I was scared to go here after reading the reviews yet I had a very positive experience on the APA unit. The staff was respectful and friendly, the environment was less restrictive than other hospitals, no one threatened me, and the groups were therapeutic. Usually I'm terrified in a psych hospital but here I felt comfortable. Carrier is the best general psych hospital I've ever been to and I've been to quite a bunch.
