“I recently took my Ford Explorer to Amwell due to bubbling paint on front hood and large sections peeling. I was told by Amwell that this is a common occurrence with some Ford vehicles. They were very knowledgeable about it and educated me on why it was happening. Apparently some hoods were made of different metals of which the paint did not adhere too well. Repainting it was not a good idea as they said it would keep happening. They actually suggested for me to try and get Ford to pay for it (which I did, but had no luck due to it being out of warranty). So Amwell ordered me a new hood and painted it the color of my Explorer. They did a great job matching the color to the rest of the truck. I dealt with both Gordon and Tom and both were courteous and polite at all times. They worked with me on returning my vehicle quickly and when I picked it up it was washed and vacuumed and it looks terrific! I highly recommend going to Amwell Auto body for any of your needs!
