This department deserves a lot more respect. They always have no problem helping you no matter what the situation is. They also do a very good job keeping Hopatcong safe and a town to call home. I seriously love you guys.

You guys treated me very friendly when you arrested me. Always respectful and polite. Very nice when placing me in the cars and even buckling me for safety. The cuffs are never too tight like the Roxbury cops always do. Always a pleasure to be arrested by you guys... until next time boys!

Im a young hispanic male who purchased a home in Hopatcong four years ago. I must say that I never had a bad or awkward experience the few times I've visited this station. As a matter of fact, the men and women that work here have treated me with a level of professionalism, respect and normality unexpected compared to other stations in Nj. They will treat you and communicate with you like a regular human not a machine. I have gotten pulled over a few times for small things (fallen license plate etc) these officers are very reasonable and understanding. You rarely hear about any major crimes in our neighborhood apart from the occasional robbery at the liquor store. We are safe here because of the work that they do. Not only that, Robert Brennan is an excellent chief. I had a firearm application question and when I called he was available to answer all of my questions. I felt like I was talking to a friend. You can tell that Robert loves his job and loves to serve the community. ("Couple-that with having the fastest turnaround of firearm application in the state in my opinion").

As far as for the youtube video everyone is talking about. Yes first instinct is to cuff and detain the bunny guy, but lets face it. The bunny suit guy got what he deserved. What would you have done if someone threatened and disrupted your place of work. This is a police department!
