Ask about customizing the telescope. He is extensively knowledgeable about customizing the telescope to your needs. I can’t wait for my hubby to get his gift!

The staff are always incredibly helpful! I have met most everyone while at NEAF and everyone is super friendly. I would highly recommend High Point Scientific!

(December 14, 2018, 4:40 pm)I purchased an item from Highpoint Scientific that turned out to be the wrong item. It was mostly my fault for not paying close enough attention, but partly their fault for a somewhat vague listing on their website.
After an initial inquiry, I was told I couldn't return the item because it had been opened. I was pretty annoyed by this.
Long story short, a representative of Highpoint Scientific got in touch with me, apologized for the mix up, sent me the correct item (again, mostly my own fault) and, generally speaking, bent over backwards to make me a happy customer.
I run a business dealing with the public, my wife manages a high end restaurant, our kids both work in the service industry as well. In short, our whole family puts a very high premium on customer service. We lament the demise of good customer service, and we shout about it from the rooftops when do find it. Well, consider this a rooftop, Highpoint Scientific exceeded my expectations of how a good business should respond to a bad experience.
Highpoint Scientific's proactive response and professionalism more than made up for my initial inconvenience. I will be happy to shop with them again, and I will recommend them every chance I get. I was sincerely impressed by their commitment to their customers.
