“If you like baked goods, this is one of the best in the county. The rum balls are rich, the brown derby cake is a fun mix of fruit, whipped cream and chocolate. Most is made in house. I've heard the sandwiches are good, but we've not partaken. Some frozen items, and decent bread. A good stop on your way along Rt. 206. Oh, and if your in foodie-mood, Dale's Market is on the other side of the road a bit - fun rural market with great meats and sandwiches.”

“I lost Snowy my 17.5 years maltese on 10/17/2018. He was my baby and life. I always tried to give him best in life and wanted nothing less for his farewell. The staff at Abbey Glen helped me give him a perfect farewell on 10/18. They kept him overnight so that I could have everyone who loved him be there to say their last bye to him. The next day when I went on 10/18 for his final rites - the staff at Abbey glen had taken such good care of him that he looked like he was in a deep peaceful sleep in fairy land. The place is so well maintained, peaceful and staff very very courteous and give all the details while maintaining the sensitivity of your loss. This place was one and half hour away from where I live but the drive was worth every mile. If you love your pet and want to give him tha best farewell then this is the place. Thank You - to all staff of Abbey Glen for giving my snowy the best farewell he deserved.”

“Firefox installed our wood stove insert one week ago. They were extremely friendly both at the time of the estimate and installation. They were one of the few companies that did not have a wait list in October when we called for an estimate. We were able to get our stove installed in a little over a month. The estimate was fast and emailed right to us. They were so helpful each time we called. The day of the installation, which was not suppose to take long, there were issues with the sizing... not on their end, but just the odd shape of our chimney. They apologize for the extra time it took, but spent the entire Saturday getting our stove in. They were prompt on arrival and even cleaned up after and put sheets down on the floors, which the clean freak in me appreciated. I would highly recommend this company and would use them again.”

“Stopped in at Hatzis for lunch today. Found a very charming and welcoming restaurant. Plenty of tables, booths and a bar with stools. I had a lunch special with a bowl of beef barley soup. The soup was rich and tasty. The quiche was out of this world with a healthy portion. We also ordered a Greek salad that was very proper. It had all the right things. We look forward to going back and trying hatzis other dishes and breakfast specials.”

“Great scout camp, very comparable to camp Winebago with 2 lakes, a very tall rock climbing wall, and nice bathroom and shower facilities. I wavered between 4 and 5 stars, but unlike Winebago, there was way too much automobile traffic. They need to close the gate like at Winebago.”
