  I have had cardiac problems for many years and was under the care of another cardiologist. Upon the referral from a friend I went to see Dr. Kalischer. He immediately was able to review my records and examine me. He came to a diagnosis which agreed with that from the other cardiologist. New medications that had been prescribed for me but were not authorized by my insurance company was not a problem for Dr. Kalischer's staff (Nicole) who knew all the right words to say and my medications were delivered 2 days later. I am very grateful to Dr. Kalischer and his wonderful staff for helping me get the newest medications to treat my heart.

  I was referred to Dr. Kalischer for a cardiac evaluation due to chest symptoms and general anxiety. I also have a family history of cardiac disease. Once I came into the office I immediately felt at ease as the office staff was very relaxed and efficient. My medical history was reviewed ( with Nicole the medical technician) and I was thoroughly examined by Dr. Kalischer. Cardiac testing was then performed using what appeared to be very sophisticated and new machines. The 90 minutes that I spent there left me more relaxed having gained knowledge and the reassurance that I was in the good hands of Dr. Kalischer and his very attentive staff.

  Dr. Kalischer is my father’s cardiologist and has been for years. He is a wonderful doctor. Besides being knowledgable and experienced, he actually cares. This is, I have to say, a rare quality in doctors nowadays. My father is 89 y/o now. While still active and self-sufficient, thanks G-d, in the last few years he landed in various complicated conditions and was hospitalized with heart problems several times. When that happened for the first time, I called Dr. Kalischer to inform him my father was in the hospital. I was astonished to find Dr. Kalischer in the hospital later that day, monitoring my father’s progress. As his cardiologist, he would come every day to check on my father for the duration of his 8 day stay in the hospital. Doctor did that each time my father was in the hospital. There were times when Dr. Kalischer visited my father at home to check on him and change medication when needed. That type of attention for a patient is commendable and indeed rare. Thank you, Doctor.
