  One of the best in town. Generous portions and when ordering a dish such as shrimp lo mein they use nice jumbo shrimp, not tiny shrimp you can barely taste.

  Portions have been large and not skimpy. You can tell crispy when ordering general chow chicken or its could be soggy. The lo mein can be soggy at times so can ask for not soggy. The fried chicken wings and half chicken are very good bargain. Same with fried fish. Also, they are good about customizing your combo ingredients. I like that. Asking for no corn starch is usually followed properly but not always. So 4 star rating which is good and 1 star left for them getting better. It's a very good takeout place but you have to tell them how you like food cooked. Nice people at counter. If delivery when I'm lazy it's fast and I always give nice tip for appreciation coming in bad weather. A 5 star if they get a little better.

  This place is one of the best chinese takeout places in the area. Food is always made with fresh ingredients and tastes great! You know when you get chicken and broccoli and it looks like the broccoli is old and wilted and the chicken doesnt look so good? NOT HERE!!!!!!!

  I moved to Union in the summer of 2003 and while getting the place ready we order out. Ever since we order chinese from Hunan Royal we have never stop.
  
  1) They are clean.
  2) The Food is good.
  3) Friendly on the phone or over the counter.
  
  Anyone that is looking for a place that is not looking like the grease spot in town along with good take out, then this is the place.
