Union Station

Nice station. Freight comes through here a lot, which is always fun to see. The station building is cute too, but it being on ground level while the platform is about 15 feet in the air might be detrimental to the passengers, so you should get on the platform at least 5 minutes in advanced.

This station is always clean, it is easy to get through. The parking lot is okay and there are surveillance camera all around so you don't have to worry about be highjack. This is one of the peaceful station on the RVL.

Close to Kean University, Rock n' Joes on the lower level if you are in need of a caffeine boost. Connections to the Raritan Valley Line, Newark and occasional New York City trains.

Best place for passengers to wait. Has indoor heating and a Cafe. Nice place for people who just like to watch trains too.

Clean station plus a great cafe for coffee or a bite to eat.
