(December 3, 2019, 7:43 pm)I had a tribe of women (about 4, Dr.Pemberton and her nurses) help me bring My prince into this world on the 19th of this month. I felt like the ancestors did when the women of the village came together to ensure an unmedicated and safe delivery of the newest member of the tribe. Dr. Pemberton, Camille and the rest of the staff from the receptionists to the nurses to always made me feel like they were apart of my village down to the day he came into this world, where they supported me, held me, set up aromatherapy, wiped my face with a cold washcloth(which brought me back to life and gave me enough energy to make it through the next contractions) and they are a huge reason why I was able to for the first time have an unmedicated labor and delivery....I will forever be thankful for my Birth Center Tribe!!!

(August 20, 2019, 11:32 am)I could not have chosen a better place to have the birth of my dreams. I was fortunate enough to have Dr. Pemberton and her exceptional staff as well as one of their amazing doulas Cristina. The birthing center felt just like I was birthing at home but better. They have everything you could possibly need to ensure you have the experience you desire. I was able to have the amazing lavender aromatherapy while Alexa played Sade songs for my entire birth “ WIN “
I honestly felt like I was birthing on my terms only with guidance when I needed it. I was able to do WHATEVER made my labor most comfortable.
This was my second birth but my first non medicated birth outside of a hospital. If I was to ever do it again let’s just say I’d never do the hospital if I was able to chose. I thank The Birth Center for helping me bring my healthy 7lbs baby boy into the world so gracefully. I’ve already told everyone I know that this is the place to go ;) -

(July 31, 2019, 9:58 pm)I had the best waterbirth experience at The birth center of Nj! The room was literally like a spa. Midwife Jane from the childbirth and women’s wellness center delivered my baby but I was fortunate enough to also have Dr. Pemberton there in support. She is so humble and sweet and her hospitality was so great it felt like I was in her own home. I felt so taken care of. Her and her staff are absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend the birthing center for those who desire an all natural birth/Water birth!!
