A nice educational place to bring kids. There is plenty of room for kids to run, and the exhibits provide an opportunity to learn about the various animals that inhabit the state. We found the staff to be informative and friendly. When we were preparing for our trip we read the reviews here: the negative comments were nothing like anything we experienced. The kids really enjoyed seeing the fish pens. The Open House provides lots of opportunities to roam around and ask questions. Pequest is not huge, but a nice visit for a couple hours in which the kids can blow off some steam in a safe environment and learn something about that environment while they're at it.
best place ever! VERY GOOD FOR FISHING!
Love their annual open house. Perfect for toddlers!
True, it's not dazzling or overwhelming for little kids. Probably not worth a long trip. However, t it does have some nice little exhibits if you're in the area with a few minutes to spend. Hiking trail to little pond is nice and easy.
