I first met him in the hospital where he was my 96-year-old mother's attending physician after she was admitted through the emergency room. Her stay was fairly lengthy and he was always attentive to her needs. After she was discharged, we made Dr Patel her primary care physician and we couldn't be happier with our decision. From Dr Patel right down to his receptionist we are treated as though we are his only patient. On this last visit to see him for a cough, mom's caregiver got lost and was almost an hour late for the appointment. Mom was seen when she finally arrived and no mention was made of her tardiness...but I would not recommend that anyone take punctuality lightly as the office's time is valuable! The visit was truly a great experience for me (I had to leave work to be there) and for mom. We were treated with respect and professionalism coupled with kindness and compassion for mom's age and condition. Dr Patel assured us that mom would be fine and recommended over-the-counter solutions instead of pricy prescription drugs. Once again, let me say, if you are looking for the best primary care physician for you or a loved one, look no further. You have found him. And you have found the best attending staff as well!”
