“I began my journey at the Wellness Center of Northwest Jersey at the end of April. I have been doing the personal training of 3x/week with my trainer Mike DeRosa and it has been OUTSTANDING!!! The way I look and feel has been priceless!! The amount of energy strength and body awareness I get from working out has been fantastic. I have received so many compliments on how my body has transformed itself in such a short amount of time. I would highly recommend the wellness center to anyone who is looking into becoming a healthier stronger version of themselves. “I’ve had a few friends work at the Somerville YMCA over the last few years and the way they talked about it encouraged me to work there over the summer, and the let me tell you the hype is real. The atmosphere there is so encouraging and inviting that I felt at home the second I walked in the door and I got a membership there the second summer ended just so i could be there more often. The after-school staff really knows the kids that come in and are so warm and welcoming to new kids, I recommend every family should enroll their kids in the after-school program just so they can interact with the staff they have. And ever since they got their new gym equipment and facilities, it feels like the whole place got a total facelift and is even better than it already was. A-plus YMCA!”

Master Turner incorporates modern training with the traditional martial arts training so that every child is engaged and active. “Where do I start, first as you enter the tranquil fresh smelling and beautiful atmosphere. We were greeted by the lovely receptionist and the owner Lynnette. Me, my sister and my friend had an awesome experience. We had a session of recovery yoga (my sister feel asleep) and then an amazing massage by Lynette and Allison. We will definitely come back. Ohh yeah we also was able to purchase the body butter that was used during our massage. I cant wait until the girlfriend retreat.”
