“We feel very lucky to have found Arden Courts of Whippany. We visited several facilities before choosing Arden Courts for our family member a year and a half ago. The thing that set AC apart from the other places we looked at is that all of the residents are here for memory care. It isn't just a wing in a nursing home. Everything from the building and grounds to the daily schedule has been designed specifically for memory care. Once our family member moved in, we were able to see the intangible benefits of AC. After each visit, my husband and I turn to eachother and say he's in the right place. It's been a huge releif for us to know that our family member is being well cared for by caring professionals. He's much better off living in this community than if he had been isolated with just us this whole time. We visit often and find our family member engaged in activities like bingo, chair exercises, music, snack times, etc. Other times he's napping when we arrive. Participation in activities is encouraged, but never forced on residents. Today we are visiting with our dog outside in the peaceful fenced in courtyard that goes all around the building.”
