“You know when you meet someone for the first time and you instantly feel connected to them. Nancy is that person. She connected with me but more importantly she connected with my 3 month old son. We had just gotten a lip and tongue tie procedure done the day before and really struggled with getting him to feed. He has to learn how to suck all over again. On atop of that he has stiffening in his neck and a slightly flattened head. She was able to see all this in a matter of 5 minutes of being in her office. Before Nancy I was a wreck and little baby was upset and in pain. Nancy took one look at us and said we will fix this, it's okay. The knowledge she holds and the techniques she uses tell a story of a person that has so much experience and cares deeply for her patients. I would recommend her to anyone I know and don't know. The very next feeding my son did he ate the whole bottle.. he hadn't done that in weeks. Thank you Nancy!”

Every little detail was thoroughly thought of from the comfy slippers, toiletries in the bathroom, and stocked fridge with waters and tea in our bedroom. But the true highlight of the stay was the hosts. They made us feel right at home with joyful morning conversations alongside their DELICIOUS spread for breakfast. “Had my daughter's 6th birthday party here and everyone LOVED it here!! The place is very large and clean. There is plenty of seating all over the water park and being able to rent the entire place after hours was amazing. With the Texas summer heat, this was the best way to go. It made it comfortable for my guests. The rental also came with like 5-6 lifeguards with helps take the worry out of keeping the kids safe in the water. The only thing I had to take a star off for were the bathrooms. They were dirty and extremely hot. No air flow whatsoever in there and they smelled horrible. Other than that the place and the staff were great. Highly recommend this place.”

“I cannot talk about Pinelands without smiling. I feel as though I have been given a second chance at life and it is a direct result of the entire Pinelands team/community. This is a place that educates you in things far beyond your substance abuse and prepares you to better manage your life. From the moment I arrived, the entire staff was so professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. While at Pinelands, I no longer felt alone or like I was on an island. I didn’t feel judged, I felt safe and understood. The large groups, small groups, individual sessions, nursing/MD appointments, etc., all created an environment of openness and honesty- which allowed me (and all the other clients) daily opportunities to be vulnerable and explain how I was truly feeling, what my goals were, and the tools and strategies to practice and implement, so that I can accomplish those goals, among many other things. A common theme I heard while at Pinelands (which is 100% applicable to daily life,) is that—you get out what you put in. If you truly want to get better, then Pinelands is where you need to go. If you are on the fence, I strongly recommend reaching out to the admissions team to discuss how you’ve been feeling and determine whether this place is right for you. Personally, I felt as though I hit my emotional rock bottom and I was still scared to death in making the commitment to check into Pinelands, but that first step was the hardest and I can honestly say that it was the best and most rewarding decision I’ve ever made as it saved my life—and I wish the same for you. Oh, and the campus is beautiful, the facility and accommodations are clean and comfortable, and the food is outstanding.”
