“Amada Senior Care has been a life-saver twice over the past year. We first used then in March 2020 when my 90-year-old mother-in-law needed temporary aide services in her independent living apartment after suffering a fall. This was our first time getting aides for her and Logan from Senior Care answered all our questions, spent a lot of time with us, and helped us through a tough situation, even as the pandemic was starting to hit North Jersey hard. We are now using them again after Mom suffered a minor stroke. The rehab facility had recommended and lined up a different aide service for her release. That service left us in the lurch at the last minute. I reached out to Logan after hours the night before we needed an aide and he responded immediately, got a night-time aide and took care of everything, with support from his nursing manager and case manager. The aides have been wonderful, Mom is happy (and she is not the easiest customer) and I can sleep at night without worry. In the past I have had to hire aides on Long Island, for my parents, years ago, and in NYC for my aunt, and I have a lot of experience in the aide world. If it is your first time doing this, it is hard, it is scary, and if you use an agency it will be a lot more expensive than you expect. But with Amada we definitely got what we paid for. The aides are kind and caring, tested for Covid, and the agency employees are very responsive. Thank you Amada for your help.”
