This man was handling returns, pickups, inventory, document processing, trucks stuck in the muddied, cold earth- all with tact, all with a smile, all with a cool, collected grace; he was the Jack Bauer of U-Haul. He held an appreciated eye to his vehicle inspection as a seasoned clock-maker to his craft. His words felt like flowers. It is no small joy to see a man in his element, whatever his expertise. There simply was no stopping him, nor sullying his calm- for this river ran deep indeed. There was no bottom, no blacker dark- like the inside of a coffin on a moonless night. I saw a man set upon his own well-guided way and found myself transfixed. I saw the glimmer of a comet's tail. I saw Brian. They have good deals on boxes, too. I think you can even return what you don't use, so there's that.”
