“I have a unique story...I'm moving my 88 year old mover and me (50) to Florida next month. My brother is paying for the move so I have a budget and was informed by my brother to get as many quotes as possible. “I used Vernay Moving twice to handle local moves for my mother-in-law. First things first: the office staff is courteous and professional, and the moving crew showed up on time, was also courteous and professional. The first move was from a fairly large house to a storage unit that was definitely not designed to hold the entire contents of a home. There was a three-man crew to handle it and I was amazed that they managed to get everything in - without damaging anything in the process. On the second move, a different crew managed to unpack the unit and move it to a new home without damaging anything. This is a family-owned business, and it shows in the way they treat customers; their crews have been with them a long time and so has their office staff. In a world where so many companies are too large and completely indifferent to the needs of their customers - and rotates staff on a monthly basis - good service, like that offered by Vernay, really stands out.”
