“We stopped by Saturday & Sunday since we were in the area for a softball tournament. Been coming for years and love the place. It’s like Christmas every time I walk in. So many options it will make your head spin. The daily lunch specials are awesome. The wife got the lobster roll both days and for the price you get a boatload of lobster. I had the grouper sandwich Saturday and the fish bites Sunday. Also had a dozen assorted oysters on the half shell both days. So fresh! Having the brewery next door makes it great for all. Kids had fun. My kid downed the flounder two days in a row. Can’t say enough nice things about everyone working there. I’m semi glad we live 45 minutes away or this place could become a serious problem. Back in July for another tournament!”

“Beautiful high quality bakery with lovely kind owner. Went in Sunday end of day, so wasn't expecting there to be much and was totally ok getting day old stuff considering the time. The owner was so nice and let me know which items were too old and I shouldn't buy, that never happens when I go to most bakeries. She really cares about quality of her products, you can feel a genuine love for what she does. She recommended the mango cake that she just finished. Which was seriously the best cake I have ever had. She said she just sourced really amazing organic mangos, and you can taste it. The vanilla bean in the frosting was a perfect balance to the mangos. It reminds me of this expensive mango cake I got in Japan made from their luxury fruit stand in Osaka. Normally I'm a chocolate person, and her chocolate cake was like a chocolate cloud, super tasty, close second to the mango cake. Everything was so light and fluffy and not too sweet. It was too easy to eat everything I bought in one sitting. The cream puffs were also impressive. She recommended I freeze for 30 mins then room temp 5 mins, since these were also just finsihed. The shell and cookie top was.perfectly crunchy and thin and the filling was like really good vanilla ice cream. Also got some brioche with extra butter and dinner rolls. Loved the soft spongey texture and buttery rich tastes, reminds me of what we made in French pastry school. Definitely want to go back earlier when everything is freshly stocked :).”

“In between both of our visits to the Doctor, squeezed in a quick lunch. Before my appointment, while still at home came across a post on Saturn Pizza at 592 Rte. 70 in the Conoco Gas Mini Mart on the corner of Route 70 & Cedar ridge Avenue, Brick. I've been driving past this place for the past 6 months and had planned to stop in to experience some Gas Station Pizza. As this mornings poster implied it was pretty good. Now it doesn't compare to the likes of the higher end and over priced places, but it was pretty good. The crust is preformed and baked, the size is 12 inch's, the thickness is definitely thin crust. Again, we all have pizza snobs in our list of friends, family and casual acquaintance who will bad mouth anything that is not fresh rolled dough. Well the taste and texture was pleasing, better than those cracker, flaky and thin offerings by Carmen's Pizzeria at Pete's and Elda's plus a few other's. The ingredients are fresh, good quality with a pleasant taste experience. It was also quick, they are using electric ovens with 600 degree temperatures and depending on the type of pizza, it takes 8 - 10 minutes for a piping hot, burn the roof of your mouth. Now the outside ring of crust is charred and may appear burnt, but the rest of the undercarriage was nicely marbled. We ordered the "Earthling Pie", which is your typical cheese and sauce pie!!! This is what Kit likes. The other Pizza was the"Uranus" and it has, red sauce, red onion, fresh garlic, jalapenos and mozzarella. I love my jalapenos and for taste, I was very pleased. Finally, I know that everyone has different tastes and likes, so I will leave it up to the individual to make their own decisions. For me, it was a worthwhile visit and lunch experience. When we were paying our bill, the Pizziola asked how was the pizza. We informed him that we liked it, asked if they could adapt the cooking times down a little for those who might not enjoy char. He was very receptive and thanked us.”

Always woof-em down before posting 'cause they're so fantastic! These upscale burgers are always fresh, tasty and made-to-order. “First time at their new location in Oakland. Some of the favorites on the menu from the other locations but also specials and menu items only at this location good mix. Place is beautiful and packed their lot and the overflow lots were both full and people were parking on side streets and walking. They do not accept reservations for less than 6 but wait isn't bad and they have alot of tables they can turn over. Service was good but our server seem to have a lot of tables maybe just short staffed it happens. We order a pitcher of white sangria very good and I had the soft shell crabs on their specials and they were perfect you get 3 full crabs where most places only give you 2. Was a wonderful surprise. Dessert i had the chocolate moose cake was delicious and light. Definitely know what they are doing. Place is little pricey but you will not leave hungry great portions. Will highly recommend for a nice night out.”
