“In the 90's Ranch One was THE BOMB. It was THE BEST chicken sandwich in NYC. Living in NJ the last 16 years, I thought there were no Ranch Ones here. I will NOT spend my money at Chik-Fil-A, so, no chicken sándwiches sandwiches for me. Then, while taking a little trip down memory lane, I decided to Google it and I saw that there IS a Ranch One on 46, SO CLOSE to my house!! Why didn't I know? I called and ordered for my family, and the employee on the phone (Hector) was SUPER friendly and SUPER helpful. My husband went to pick it up. The chicken was every bit as delicious as I remember, it was the best salad I've had in a year, and it was SO MUCH FOOD that we put away a ton for the next day. And it's perhaps the cheapest place that we've gotten takeout in a long time. Small drawback: the menu says they sell chicken-by-the-piece (breast, wing, thigh...) but they actually don't any longer. A bit disappointing for me because over the years I developed celiac and I can't have a sandwich. But I had a grilled chicken salad, no biggie, it was delish. Bigger drawback: the sign does not say "Ranch One" on it. It took my husband a very long time to find it, and we had to call them for help. There's picture of the exterior on Google Maps, showing a Blimpie's sign above and a Ranch One sign below (not the usual company logo, just the words), but the "Ranch One" part of the sign is gone now. When you see the Blimpie's sign, that's the ranch one (like when Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins are in the same store).”

“Tim Horton is only one in this area. It is our fav amongst tor Dunkin’s and the Quickcheks or Mc Donald’s. TH uses quality ingredients and is one of the better ones amongst fast food chains. We love their egg and cheese on a sausage croissant , egg bites, Asiago bagel and grilled chicken panini. It’s open late at night. It is a Canadian chain and known to be like Dunkin of Canada 🇨🇦. The lady who waited on us made it feel like we were at family's, being catered and tended to like we were children of the house who'd come back for Christmas! Read on to read about the dishes we got: The burgers tasted like they'd been grilled by a master dad griller- I could taste the grill marks, yum! And the beef was so juicy- I could tell they used the fattier ground beef which is the one with all the flavor that makes us want a burger! The fried batter beer cod was as fresh as cod I've bought at the NYC seafood markets the day the fish came in! Perfectly crisp and a GENEROUS THICK CHUNK of a filet, with HOMEMADE NOT FROZEN POTATO WEDGES. I could taste they were fresh potatoes. The wedges were so well seasoned, they could easily be a meal by themselves. The creamy tomato penne pasta we ordered from the kids meal tasted as good as homemade and the tomato sauce they used was brimming with flavor- it tasted like the sauce was homemade too and the penne was Al dente. Not reheated but made to order. Now onto the garlic clams- last time I had clams this fresh in a sauce of fresh garlic and parsley, I was eating on the beach by a seaside restaurant in the Caribbean. I'm latina and from the Caribbean and the seasoning was on point. Finally, the masterpiece of the night: The BBQ RIBS. Fall off the bone and well marinated in some tangy mix of seasonings and citrus that made for a cut I could have gladly eaten without the BBQ sauce. But the BBQ sauce on it gave it a layer of sweetness and had hints of some liquor, making for the best ribs I've ever had in my LIFE! We were in the area picking up a Macy's package that I sent to the wrong Macy's location, all the way from JC, near the Holland tunnel. But we will be driving back and making the 45+ ride there JUST to eat here again.”

“I went to The Butchers Steakhouse with some friends and overall had a great time. The atmosphere and service are superb. I had the Sticky BBQ Ribs at $30 was a good value for your money, was a huge portion however it was mostly bones with very little meat and it was nor very tasty. The Duck Fries at $24 was basically frozen fries with dry pieces of duck and scallions with no taste, I would not recommend it. To conclude the place and service is great, they have great menu options, their stakes are great and reasonably priced however the dishes that I toke was mediocre”

They have Clean sitting arrangements overlooking the sea and that's the best part. Another side is Gazebo near a small pond which is also a very nice spot. As Balmer boardwalk doesn't have eateries around, you would have to cross the road (of course no big deal), but it offers food right on the boardwalk, very common in Point Pleasant boardwalk, but not here in Belmar, so it is a good option.”
