After several years they moved to their new location at Montgomery Cleaners. Even though it's somewhat out of my way, I gladly make the trip to continue to use their services. There are no surprises, great dry cleaning. Never a lost garment. Esther's tailoring is superb. I've had alterations to many suits, including reconstructing jackets, tailoring ladies' party dresses, children's clothes. Even my daughter's costumes for a school play. Always very satisfied. “I was planning to visit this cozy restaurant due to it's reveiws and let me tell you 'it lives up to it's name'. We had an amazing pizza experience here and met their friendly staff. Pizza was perfectly baked and bread was so tasty. Restaurant has enough space and it's clean and beautiful. They have extensive menu with lots of things to try, we ordered two medium pizzas and we were full. They have good choices in vegetarian pizza too. I will definitely try pasta and sandwiches in my next visit. Happy to discover this place!”

At the time, I was too young to understand anything and took a bit of aging to understand what was going on around me. My mother raised three children by herself. My brother and I had the same father, but our sister had a different dad. Our father left before I was born. My mom was telling me how I shouldn’t have been born. I feel very lucky to be where I am today, to be alive. At one time we failed to pay the rent, my brother and I were scared because our mom was deeply upset. I remember this building in the picture, I had no idea why we were here. Kathy saved us, and this foundation has saved many lives. People do not understand how extreme poverty can become in inner city neighborhoods. Childhood poverty was rampant, and I was just another statistic. Kathy is a woman of god, she is sympathetic. It was her decision to open this place to help others. We must recognize her selflessness and the so many lives she has touched.”
