(February 7, 2017, 5:28 pm)The folks that work here are absolutely professional in business, friendly and courteous as people, and they all know their stock. Their inventory is perhaps the most widely varied I've encountered in any of the pawnshops I've visited in Albuquerque, and their prices are a heck of a lot better than most.
One example of my experiences: I had taken a knife to another shop off of 4th, needing a little extra cash for a day. I explained my situation, and was told that it'd be a cold day in hell when they bought another knife; they had maybe fifteen in visible stock.
When I went to Doc Holliday's, I explained that I did not want to sell my knife; I just needed a little to get me through to the next day, when I got paid. Mark, the owner, was sympathetic, told me he had a hundred knives, but if I was coming to get it the next day, he'd give me a certain sum "if that'd help you." (Incidentally, they really do have way more knives than I've ever seen in a pawnshop.)
Since then, I've left all other pawnshops alone. Doc Holliday's is the absolute best, in my opinion, and I recommend them highly!
