“I absolutely love Dr Alvarez! I've had numerous appointments here in the past few years. They are thorough, offer lots of options for healthy eyes - sometimes I get mine dilated and other times I don't. It's up to me. Plus, I have gotten a glasses prescription & a contact prescription. You don't have to buy glasses at Costco, but they are really inexpensive if you like them. There is some turnover in the front office which just means you need to make certain you ask lots of questions if you have concerns about billing, etc. They do take walk-ins or even same day appointments most of the time. Really great service for $99+!!”

We had a situation where one of the boys chipped a tooth - after hours, of course. Dr. Sjostrom's office contacted us immediately and even offered to see him over the weekend if needed. The Dr. is very thorough and on each visit, talks to the kids with real interest in their lives and answers their questions and mine in a way that's easily understood. The hygienists are refreshingly friendly and caring and do a terrific job of making sure the kids are comfortable. Bottom line for parents: excellent care, great staff, and clean, modern office.... and for the kids - video games and movies. :-)”

“Sometimes shifts can be hard to pick up, but I’ve come to learn if you build a rapport with staff and clients it’s a bit easier to come by shifts, you’re then seen as reliable and worthy of the work in my opinion. I wish the pay was a bit more. It’s $10 an hour but they do have bonuses at times for last minute shifts or shifts on holidays. Flexible schedule, i just love caring for people, it’s my passion. I don’t think I’ve ever been waiting in the lobby for longer than five minutes. I love it how right when I opened the doors, I get this positive vibe flow of energy from the environment.
