Dar a Luz Birth & Health Center

Amazing care! So happy we decided to come here. I felt very well cared for leading up to and especially at delivery. I was very apprehensive about not going the hospital route as I had with my previous children, but after learning more about everything Dar has to offer and meeting the staff, I felt reassured this would be a better experience. I could not have been more right! I look forward to continuing my routine care with them. Thank you, Dar a Luz!

I can't say enough amazing things about the ladies here. Everyone there is so loving and helpful. I have never felt more cared for in my life. The facilities are beautiful, zen and comforting. If anyone wants the chance at a pure birth experience come here. From beginning to end you and your baby will be happy. If I was ever to have more children I would come back here. I have been going here for 4 years!! From having babies to having a place to go for my woman needs...this place is the best!! After an appointment yesterday, I sat in my car before I left, just feeling grateful for Dar a Luz. Thank you!!!

Love Dar a Luz. Recieved the best care before and after labor! The classes are so educating. All of the midwives were so caring and helpful. I will be back if I have another baby!

My baby was born at Dar a Luz in December 2018. I could not recommend this birth center any more highly! When I found out I was pregnant I knew immediately I wanted a water birth. I had friends and family who had their babies here, so we decided to check it out. All of the staff are just absolutely amazing, from the nurses to the midwives to the receptionist to the insurance verifier; they are all amazingly compassionate, knowledgeable, caring, and friendly. As a person with high anxiety I felt like all of my questions were always answered with compassion and nobody batted an eyelash when I came in one day just wanting to hear my baby's heartbeat and to know he was ok. My pregnancy and labor were low risk and I was able to birth here, but from the very beginning DaL is upfront about the fact that a transfer to a hospital setting might be necessary for various reasons. They even require that all clients take a class on transferring so that you know what to expect in case it does happen. My husband and I loved all of the classes we took and we felt very prepared for labor, birth, and taking care of a newborn (as prepared as new parents can be!) After seeing friends give birth in hospitals I am so grateful that we chose Dar a Luz. Our experience was so intimate that we almost felt like we'd given birth at home, but we also had the comfort of knowing that if things went wrong at any moment, there was a plan in place to take care of us and our baby. We will definitely return to Dar a Luz for any future babies we might have and I recommend the birth center to anyone and everyone that I know (or even those I don't) who is having a baby.
