I had taken my car to a different mechanic who placed a new alternator. Less than 24 hours later I was stuck on the side of the road with a dead battery. Again. I managed to get to ARC auto, explained the issue and they immediately jumped up to help. Diagnosed the issue very quickly (alternator was faulty) and went to work getting me a new one under the warranty. Michael spent lots of time on the phone, but got it done!

I had to stay overnight as the part was not available in the local store. They got it in first thing in the morning and I was back on the road by 1030 am. Fair prices. Honest mechanics.

I had several OBD codes that were showing up on my 2005 Nissan Frontier NISMO truck and also a noise when I would downshift on the automatic transmission. ARC Automotive had already helped me before on my daughters A/C problem, which they took care of right away a couple years back. I live in southern NM, so to get to this shop would require me to travel 260 miles one way. I was very pleased the first time with ARC Automotive's service that I felt very comfortable that the issues I had with my Nissan Frontier truck would be resolved and corrected. I asked Mr Abe Gurule to please address any other issues that might need repairs. A thorough review was done on the truck and any issues that required attention sooner than later were brought to my attention. The Service Writer for the mechanic shop, Mr Theron, did contact me and let me know about what may be needed to make sure I had no trouble later on with the truck. Those that needed their immediate attention and required attention were explained to me and I gave approval to be fixed. When the rear brakes were being worked on, it was discovered that the passenger side axle seal was severely leaking and when the hub was pulled out, they discovered the race had come off the bearing. I was contacted right away and told about this mechanical issue, which was critical to me because if the axle were to get loose and come off on the highway, the end result could be a major setback not only to the vehicle but also possibly having a family member or myself getting injured.
All the office staff, Abe, Theron and Christina, and workers, Noe and others, are very nice, courteous and I will make a trip for any major work that any of my vehicles might need, because of their honesty and professional way of dealing with the customers. I would recommend them to my friends without any hesitation. Of those people who live around the Albuquerque/Bernalillo/ Rio Rancho area, they have a shop that will take excellent care of whatever mechanical work they may need. I had a tune-up, brake job and OBD codes taken care of and I am very satisfied with the work. I will give ARC Automotive an A+ for their work.
