(October 17, 2021, 3:46 am)I was there for an unplanned visit back in the 90's when the whole structure was all white. I saw it from the hwy and it was so dramatic I felt compelled to visit. The fence was much closer and less tall then. Completely different actually. My memory of the fence is vague but I think it was very simple wood fencing. I don't believe it was adobe. One of my many photos of the church taken fairly close had the weirdest anomaly. Has a few bands like orange fire . One that runs up a small tombstone in form of cross. cross.
